Data from China Customs shows that Belarus imported various types of crane equipment from China worth 2.452 million US dollars in 2021, an increase of 56% compared with the total import value of 1.579 million US dollars in 2020. From the time line, Belarus’s imports in January 2021 accounted for 54.69% of the total imports for the year, and the month’s imports were much higher than other months. The growth of demand for Chinese cranes in the Belarusian crane market may slow down in 2022.
