Some customers need to move the single-girder overhead crane used in one workshop to another workshop due to production needs. I don’t know how to move it. I will share with you the next customer’s single-beam crane removal plan and precautions.
Due to production needs, a 10-ton single-beam crane needs to be moved. There were 3 cranes in the original painting workshop, but they still couldn’t meet the production demand. It is planned to transfer and use a single-beam crane that is not in use in the riveting and welding workshop next door.
Our company arranges technicians to survey the use site, first of all, we must measure the spans of the driving tracks of the two workshops. This single-beam crane has a fixed span of 22.5 meters, and it must be considered that the track span is consistent with the driving span when moving. Secondly, it is necessary to measure whether the width of the track is consistent. The width of the track is related to the size of the wheel.
The technicians found that the span of the track is the same. But the width of the track is different, one is a 38KG track and the other is a 30KG track. The wheels need to be replaced before moving, and the original 70mm wheel grooves need to be changed to 90mm wheels.
- Turn off the power of the single-beam crane and remove the power charger.
- Use a crane to slowly hoist the single-beam crane, and place the single-beam crane on the vehicle platform on the ground in the moving direction.
- Replace the wheels.
- Move the single-beam crane with the changed wheels to the painting workshop.
- Use a crane to hoist the single beam crane and place it on the track.
- Install the power generator and debug the single-beam crane.
In addition, when moving the single-beam crane, it is necessary to consider whether the elevation of the track surface is the same. If the track in the transfer workshop is higher than the original track, the length of the wire rope will not meet the hoisting requirements and the wire rope needs to be replaced. Pay attention to safety during the entire relocation process, and isolate the relocation area, and irrelevant personnel are not allowed to enter the cordon.
When moving single-girder cranes, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the spans of the cranes are the same, whether the use of the track affects the wheels, and whether the lifting height is appropriate.
