 According to the “Oman Observer” report on July 17, 2021, the Duqm Port Company announced the launch of an international operator tender for its newly completed container terminal. The winning operator will be awarded the development and operation of the Duqm “Port Container Project”. Phase 1 license, valid for 30 years. The first phase of the project is expected to have a capacity of 1.7 million TEUs, with more room for expansion in the future.
