Serbia-China Economic and Trade Relations
From January to October 2021, the bilateral import and export volume of goods between China and Serbia was US$2,602.16 million, an increase of US$854.3286 million compared with the same period in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 49.2%.
From January to October 2021, the total value of China’s exports to Serbia was US$1,795.4125 million, an increase of US$464.3255 million compared with the same period in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 35.2%; the total value of China’s imports from Serbia was US$806.7491 million, compared with 2020. During the same period, it increased by 390.0031 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 93.8%.
From the perspective of commodity structure, the top five commodity types in Serbia’s exports to China are metal-containing ores and scraps (49.9% of total exports), non-ferrous metals (35.0%), cork and wood products (49.9% of total exports), cork and wood products (49.9% of total exports) 5.6%), grains and their products (2.1%), engines and motors (1.2%); the above commodities accounted for 93.8% of total exports to China.
