The case that Dongqi Crane will share today is a custom-made bridge crane for a brewery. In order to ensure safe operation and precise positioning, the brewery asked the crane supplier to equip these cranes with radio remote controls. As a crane supplier with many years of experience, Dongqi Crane is familiar with the benefits that radio remote controls can bring to customers. Dongqi Crane hopes that through a detailed explanation of this case, customers can clearly understand the benefits of radio remote controls.
For customers, a high-precision remote control also means a better operating experience. It allows operators to control the crane more easily and confidently, reducing the possibility of operational errors, thereby improving work efficiency and safety. This good operating experience not only helps improve customer satisfaction, but also helps enhance customer trust and loyalty to the brand.
The process of customizing a bridge crane for a brewery
The brewery’s overhead and monorail cranes are equipped with radio remote controls to ensure operators can lift loads safely and accurately.
The brewery uses a single-girder bridge crane and is equipped with a wire rope hoist in the jump room. A one-tonne crane with a span of 4.34 meters is used to move bags containing brewing additives into position above the dissolution tank.
As part of the beer-making process, a radio-controlled electric chain hoist on a monorail is used to lift the bowl out of the separator. Electric chain hosts are designed to meet and exceed industrial requirements and provide reliable solutions for specific lifting needs.
Electric hoists are designed for maximum safety and comfort and come with a range of additional features to tailor them to specific needs. When the brewery was recently upgraded, both the monorail hoist and overhead crane were fitted with heavy-duty radio remote controls as standard.
The radio remote control ensures the safety of the operator, who can choose a position away from the load being lifted and moved while still having optimal visibility.
Andrew Mitchell, the brewery’s services and utilities manager, confirmed that the overhead crane and monorail with remote control are working well at the brewery.
The crane supplier also has maintenance contracts for five of the brewery’s cranes, servicing not only its own cranes but also those of other suppliers. The (single girder) crane with a single lifting capacity of up to 80 tonnes and the accompanying wire rope hoist are designed to become the industry benchmark in safety and ergonomics, with optimal dimensions for simple and effective load handling and space-saving solutions.
