In 2021, the import of transport and overhead cranes was significantly reduced to X dollars in value terms. Imports contracted sharply during the review period. 2019 saw the fastest growth, with imports up X% year-on-year. During the period under review, imports peaked at $X in 2020 before falling sharply the following year.
In 2021, China (X units) is Germany’s largest supplier of transport and overhead cranes, accounting for X% of total imports. In addition, transport and overhead cranes imported from China were twice as high as the number recorded by the second largest supplier, Slovakia (X units). In third place is the Netherlands (X units) with an X% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of sales from China is -X%. The average annual growth rates of imports for the remaining suppliers are as follows: Slovakia (+X% per annum) and the Netherlands (+X% per annum).
