Electric chain hoist Case Analysis
This customer is based in Guatemala, Central America. When I first sent business letter to the customer in January 2018, he replied that he is looking for chain hoist. After confirming the type and technical details, I quoted for the customer. Both the technical part and its price satisfied the customer. My challenge lies in 1) long sea freight time; and 2) delivery time in the junction with Chinese New Year holiday.
By communicating with factory, we can prioritize this case and production can be completed in 5 days. For the sea freight time, in the last, we chose direct sea freight which takes about 35 days from Tianjin port to the port of destination.
After clearing both obstacles, the customer decided to purchase the two sets of chain hoists.
