Solutions To Common Failures Of Electric Rail Flat Cars

 Rail flat cars are transportation vehicles that are used more frequently in enterprise workshops. After a long time of use, there may be some malfunctions that affect the normal use of electric flat cars. 1. Excessive noise during operation:

1. Electrical control cabinet failure: Abnormal noise occurs in the control loop and generally emits “hum” noise, most of which are faults in the contactor (such as poor contact of the contactor, inconsistent voltage level, stuck magnetic core, etc.). The faulty contactor shall be inspected and repaired. If it cannot be inspected, it must be replaced. After handling, the noise will be eliminated by itself.

2. Electric flat car failure: stop immediately, check whether the electric flat car is single-phase running, or the bearing is damaged, the output shaft is not correct, and the “sweeping” faults will cause the electric flat car to have abnormal noises and different fault noises. The position, height, and sound are different. When single-phase is running, the entire electric flat car emits a regular “buzzing” sound; when the bearing is damaged, it will emit a “cock-cock” sound in the vicinity of the bearing. When the output shaft is not correct, or the electric flat car slightly sweeps the bore, the entire electric flat car emits a very high “hum” sound, accompanied by a sharp and harsh sound from time to time. In short, according to the difference in noise, the fault should be found and repaired item by item to restore the normal performance of the electric flat car. When the electric flat car is not dealt with, the use of the electric flat car is prohibited.

3. Gearbox failure: stop and check, first determine whether the gearbox or bearing of the reducer has been lubricated before use, and whether the lubricating oil is changed regularly during use. If it is not lubricated as required, the reducer will not only produce excessively high” “Buzzing” can also cause excessive wear or damage to gears and bearings.

2. Electric flat car has no power display

1. No power: Whether the electric system is powering the electric flat car power supply, generally use a test pen to test, if there is no power, wait until the power is turned on before working.

2. Phase loss: The electrical damage, disconnection or poor contact of the main and control circuits of the drive motor will also cause the flat car drive motor to lose phase and fail to work normally. In this case, the main and control circuits need to be overhauled. In order to prevent the power supply from the main and control loops to the three-phase motor from being burnt due to lack of phase, or the electric flat car driving motor is suddenly energized and running, causing harm, the motor must be disconnected from the power line first, and only for the main and control circuits. Power on the circuit, and then jog the start and stop switches, check and analyze the working conditions of the control appliances and circuits, repair or replace the problematic appliances or circuits, and re-test after confirming that the main and control circuits are not faulty.

3. The voltage is too low: the motor terminal voltage is more than 10% lower than the rated voltage, and the motor starting torque is too small, so that the electric flat car cannot move and cannot work. When checking, use a multimeter or a voltmeter to measure the voltage at the motor input terminal.

3. The temperature of the electric flat car is too high:

1. Overload use: Overload will cause the electric flat car to heat up, and long-term overload will burn the electric flat car. Therefore, the load of the flat car must be within the rated load range.

2. The bearing of the electric flat car is damaged: replace the bearing of the electric flat car.

3. The work system is not stipulated: when using it, it should work strictly in accordance with the work system of electric flat cars.

4. When transporting heavy objects, it cannot be restarted after stopping:

1. The system voltage is too low or fluctuates too much: wait for the electric flat car voltage to return to normal before starting.

2. Phase lack of electric flat car: check the number of power phases.

After the electric flat car breaks down, it should be dealt with in time to avoid causing greater failure.
