There are many different ways to control your winch, including electric control box with push buttons, remote control (pendant control, wireless remote control), reversing switch and cam control.
Electric control box – Generally, the electric winch takes the basic form of electric control box that comprises up/down, emergency stop push buttons. The control box can be installed in or near the winch.
Remote control is a popular addition to electric control box. It can be either pendant control or wireless remote control. The remote control usually plugs into the control box to allow the operator to stand well clear of the winch and the load during operation.
Reversing switch is an electric switch with four terminals that can be connected in pairs in two different ways in order to reverse the direction of current flow.
Cam control is also commonly seen in the electric winch machine. It can control the start, stop, speed regulation, reversing and braking of the small wound rotor asynchronous motor of the winch.
