 The bridge crane belongs to the rail crane and needs to run back and forth on the rail above the workshop. Most of the gantry cranes also use track as the basis for operation. This shows the importance of track to cranes. There are many types of running tracks for bridge cranes , and different tonnage cranes use different track types. Many friends don’t know much about the crane rail model, and don’t know the meaning of the letters and numbers QU80 and P43. Today, I will briefly introduce the meaning of the rail model.

Crane rails are also called track rails, which can be divided into light rails and heavy rails.

Among them, QU70, QU80, QU100, QU120, etc. are crane rails, which are several types of rails commonly used in large cranes, and the number represents the rail surface width of the rail.

The fixed length of this series of rails is 9m, 9.5m, 10m, 10.5m, 11m, 11.5m, 12m, 12.5m, and the length of the short rail is 6m~8.9m (according to 100mm upgrade).

The theoretical weight of the QU70 rail is 52.77kg/m, the theoretical weight of the QU80 rail is 64.41kg/m, the theoretical weight of the QU100 rail is 89.05kg/m, and the theoretical weight of the QU80 rail is 118.5kg/m.

P9, P12, P15, P18, P22, P24, P30, etc. belong to hot-rolled light rail, and the value represents its theoretical weight per meter.

There are also 38kg/m, 43kg/m, 50kg/m, 60kg/m, and 75kg/m track belonging to heavy rail.
